Konvergencie 2024

Konvergencie 2024

The ninth winter edition of the Convergence Festival will belong to the fascinating universe of Mozart's music.

Until his death at the age of 35, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart created more than 600 works, that is, thousands of pages of music that never stopped sounding. The image of its creator is as changeable and elusive as his play of tones: eternal child prodigy, frivolous free-thinker, tragically misunderstood genius - each of these characteristics is perhaps the truth, but certainly a myth at the same time. The musical double portrait Mozart-Mustonen will be complemented by accompanying events: a screening of the director's version of Forman's film Amadeus on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its premiere, reading about music with Robert Roth, Mozart's singspiel Bastien and Bastienka as a concert for children, and the sound adventures of Stroon and Pjoni.
